Subject: visit
Hi. I am sorry I have not written since I hit you all with the crazy news. Not
a lot has happened. I did find out that Rob is being punished specifically
because there are a few people at the prison who are very angry with my web
site. They came right out and told Rob this!! Too bad we can never prove it!
They promised him that he will spend at least 6 months in the hole. They will
try to take away his good time, halfway house time, destroy his chances of the
judge ruling in his favor on the re-sentencing motion, get me investigated by
the FBI, prevent me from visiting.... oh, and if that's not enough, they will
make it worse if he doesn't shut up and take it like a man!
They are going to charge him with violating conditions of furlough. The
specific rule in question is:
3. While on furlough status, I
understand that I remain in the custody of the U.S. Attorney General. I agree
to
conduct myself in a manner not to bring discredit to myself or to the Bureau of
Prisons. I understand that subject to arrest and/or institution disciplinary
action for violating any condition(s) of my furlough.
According to them, my web site "has embarrassed them
professionally" and they "want someone's ass!"
I did show up to visit Rob today and got in! I don't know whether they just
didn't get around to taking me off the list or they were just bluffing --hoping
I would find out and be to frightened to show up. They said that I supposedly
signed something on a visitor form (NOT) that prohibits me from taking that
picture of the prison building.
They were apparently really pissed about the update dated 4/14 where I talk
about the secretary enforcing camp rules. They say a lot of people may be in
trouble because of me.
Well there you have it. Not sure what will happen next. I'll keep you posted.
