Hey there!

I went to visit Rob today. He was in GREAT spirits. I was all prepared to be teary eyed and sad, but he was all grins. :) I think being in the hole made him really appreciate life at the camp. The hole was "solitary confinement" at it's worst. I am still fuming about that, so I will change the subject before I begin ranting...

I would love to sit down and tell you all about everything I have learned, but I am completely exhausted. --So I will tell you the important stuff.

Rob cannot receive anything in the mail from anyone other than letters and cards. He would be allowed to have a certain number of books and magazine mailed from the publisher, or like amazon or something. But he says there are already a lot of magazines there, and that they have a great library. He can have photographs as well. If he goes over his limit, they will mail them back to the sender.

The other cool thing is that he was told by someone of some authority there, that he will likely be out of there in about 9 months. He would serve the remaining 6 months in a halfway house. The other inmates say that the halfway houses are terrible in comparison to the camp. They say the "Work" you are allowed to do is not within your field of expertise. They can make you work at Burger King if they want to. And that you have to give them 25 percent of your earrings. But we are thinking more about the possibility of weekend passes. That would be worth the extra hassle for just a few months. (hopefully)

The place is clean and pleasant enough. Rob says he has absolutely no worries about it now. What a relief! I will be seeing him again tomorrow. If there are any new developments, I will pass them along.

Thanks! :)
