Rob had his first meeting with his unit leader yesterday. All the news is disappointing, however. The first issue is that apparently if Rob calls anyone who uses call forwarding, he will be put in the hole. Please let me know if you use that service so that I can warn Rob not to call you. Three way calling is also against the rules. That also goes for call waiting. You can have call waiting, but if you answer it while on the phone with Rob, he WILL go into the hole. A few of you have used it, and Rob has had his first and only warning. Next time it's the hole. Please don't forget!!! Let me know if you have any questions--better safe than sorry.

Rob will also start his job today at the power plant. I am very skeptical about anything that sounds good from that place. They said he would be doing office work. We shall see about that later today.... (his job title is "Pipe Fitter!")

And last, but certainly worst, he will probably not be there LONG enough to qualify for the twelve hour furlough that was mentioned previously. He will be twenty days short. That is very sad news. :(

On the brighter side, thank you all for your mental, financial and investigative support and sincere friendship!! Rob has mentioned how generous you have all been in so many ways. We both really appreciate it. :))

Thanks,
Shannon
