Greetings all, in about 12 hours I have to do the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life, turn myself over to our beloved government to become their guest for the next 15-18 months. It strikes me that it would probably be easier to place my hands into hot coals and keep them there for a year (while sober). I just want to thank everyone for all their friendship and support especially over the past two and a half years. It's been a long road just to get to where I am now, and there is still much ahead. I'm not too worried about what the next 18 months have in store, I just know it's going to be lonely and boring and I'll feel like I'm missing out on everything going on in the outside world. It's going to be just as lonely for Shannon (though she has the cats to hug) so please take care of her for me while I'm gone.
