Hello all!

It feels somewhat strange to be in normal clothes and typing at a computer after being in "pajamas" (as Shannon refers to my prison wardrobe :)) for the past seven and a half months. By the time you read this, I'll be back in my little cubicle bunk area wondering if today really happened... at least we're halfway there now. I just want to thank everyone who has supported and helped us by visiting, emailing, helping Shannon with the web site, writing, sending books, money, magazines (and Italian food for furlough, thanks Boves!! (shameless plug www.boves.com )). Please keep it up, there's still a long road ahead and it's been an absolutely IMMENSE help to Shannon and me. All the cats have done a role reversal, Zena now seems to love me and Brak and Warren hiss and growl at me. Ah well, they don't have to see me again for many more months. You're all pretty much up to date on what's going on, so I won't get into any of that. Well, it's 3:30, so we're going to go take some pictures and then head out for dinner (mmmm... real steak!!! You have NO idea what crap they serve us. One guy who was taken for surgery came back and actually missed the hospital food!! Ex-military guys say it's a large step down from Army and Marine food). Please don't make me go back!!!! :). OK, I'm off, I'll let Shannon add on to this and send it out tonight.

Cheerios to all, Rob!!

Shannon here.

I don't really know what to say. Today was wonderful but as I had suspected, it came to a very sad conclusion. I am just hoping that Rob will not get too depressed as a result, and that he falls back as easily into his temporary role as "federal prisoner" as he did today as "Rob, the guy with three crazy cats and a really cool wife". ;) It really did feel quite natural for the both of us to just hang out at home together the way we sometimes would on a Saturday. --Although I never have seen Rob so excited about trying on clothes before! I think it was a combination of the fact he never gets to wear "normal" clothes anymore and the fact he is back in his size 36 jeans with room to spare! :) He looks great! On that note, I will attach a picture or two and go to bed so that I can get up early and visit him in the morning.

Happy Passover/ Easter!
Shannon
