The best way to help Rob is if you or anyone you know in the tech industry might be interested in hiring Rob.  Check out the Hire Rob link.

If not, you can still help.  Rob racked up well over $200,000 in legal fees while awaiting his final hearing. He liquidated all of his assets and savings, and borrowed money to pay the first $100,000 to his attorneys hoping for the best. He was laid off from his job several months before his sentencing hearing and went to prison owing over 25,000 in tax debt. This was money he set aside to pay taxes (he was a contractor) but was forced to give to his attorneys instead. Since his release, he has been contracting again, but thus far has been unable to obtain full time employment and we were forced to file bankruptcy in February 2005. He still owes $36,000 to friends and family.

Monetary gifts of any amount, even $1 (not tax deductible) will be deposited into a College savings 529 plan for our son Ryan and can be donated via the Paypal link below
